If you are still locked out of your ShurLok you will need to send your ShurLok to our headquarters to be reset. We provide a service (see step 2 below) whereby our machine will detect the code your ShurLok is set at and revert it to the factory default. Please perform each step in this list before sending the ShurLok to us for resetting.

1. Look on the back of the ShurLok and look for the "1996 IBBI" copyright mark.

2. Count the number of dots above this mark.
If there are 7 dots (…....) or more we support the ShurLok with a free service (manufactured in 2007 or later). If there are less than 7 dots we charge a nominal $5 fee to cover most of our shipping cost back to you (UPS). NOTE: ShurLoks sent to us with less than 7 dots and without a $5 check will not be returned.

3. Send your ShurLok, return address and e-mail address to:

Packaging/Shipping
You do not need to ship the ShurLok back in its original packaging.
No special padding is required (the ShurLok wont break in transit).
US Postal Service is normally sufficient and less expensive unless you want to track the shipment. US Priority Mail is $4.60 when shipping one ShurLok in a small padded envelope.

NOTE: If you include your business card with your email address on it our shipping department will automatically notify you with a tracking number via email when your ShurLok ships back to you by UPS.

We normally have the ShurLok reset and shipping back to you within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your ShurLok.

If you place your ShurLok in a small padded envelope without the clamshell packaging or cardboard, the weight stays under 1 pound and will only require around $5.00 in postage when sent US Priority Mail.
